The American Sign Language (ASL) and Interpreter Preparation Program at CCBC has been serving students for over 40 years. The program utilizes a cutting-edge curriculum and is rapidly growing locally and online. Join our dynamic team of four (4) full-time ASL and Interpreter Prep faculty members, ASL Coaches and staff interpreter. The program is seeking an additional faculty member to teach ASL and Deaf culture courses. Applicants with the CDI credential could also teach interpreter prep courses. Fifteen contact hours of instruction, five office hours, college and community services and ongoing professional development are required. Position locations include both Essex and Catonsville campuses and include teaching classes during days, evenings and online.

Minimum Requirements
- Master’s degree in deaf-related discipline such as American Sign Language Teaching, Deaf Studies, or Linguistics of ASL. ASLTA certification strongly preferred
- Two (2) years teaching experience
- Proficient computer skills and MicroSoft applications knowledge
- Prior college teaching experience preferred
