About the Position
Notre Dame Jerusalem seeks a creative, hard-working, and energetic Research Collaboration Fellow to work on various substantive projects. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, possess strong research and project management skills, and will be interested in working in a diverse team environment. They will also demonstrate a hunger for understanding complex ideas and a desire to grow professionally. With opportunities to network with peers and scholars and gain mentorship from faculty, the successful candidate will be able to excel as a leader in policy, academia, business, and beyond. The position reports directly to the Director of Undergraduate Studies.
The major responsibilities of this position will include (but are not limited to):
- Working in collaboration with colleagues in South Bend and Jerusalem on region-specific projects
- Working independently to manage the ongoing delivery of research projects and initiatives
- Preparing high-level content (e.g., articles, podcasts, case studies, etc.) on topics related to thematic interests of the academic center in collaboration with the Director of Undergraduate Studies and Executive Director
- Assisting with the drafting, proofreading, and editing of grant proposals
- Assisting with budgeting, including monitoring grant information, writing reports and requests, creating and updating spreadsheets, and preparing vouchers for reimbursement
- Coordinating events, including preparing invitations, making travel arrangements, corresponding with speakers and presiders, helping to prepare background papers and materials for distribution, and providing other logistical support
- Providing support across departmental lines and for other directors and team members upon request
This is a full-time position based at the offices of the University’s academic center in Jerusalem (Tantur campus).

Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in fields relevant to the center’s activities (including, but not limited to, social sciences, humanities, business, etc.)
- Excellent research, writing, and editing skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills and high attention to detail
- Experience with project management
- Excellent written communication, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet research
- Fluent English language skills are a must. Knowledge of Arabic or Hebrew is an asset
