Position Summary
Reporting to the Assistant Director, Enterprise Applications, the Technical Analyst/Manager analyzes operational units’ processes, procedures, and policies and suggests modifications in line with strategic and operational goals.
This position assesses business models and integrates them with technology, manages and facilitates the implementation of new applications as well as new functionality on existing applications, and serves as subject matter expert in the business and the applications that support it.
This position may require occasional evening, weekend, and holiday hours.
Essential Functions
- Manages and facilitates the implementation of new applications as well as new functionality on existing applications for multiple business units.
- Helps define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes.
- Interprets business rules and requisites, then translates these to functional technical system/service requirements.
- Analyzes business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs.
- Assesses vendors and develops test strategies for new systems and services, acting as subject matter expert for multiple business units and applications.
- Manages user identity lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and account updates.
- Evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, reconciles conflicts, decomposes high-level information into details, abstracts up from low-level information to a general understanding, and evaluates user requests.

Required Qualifications: Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of four years experience in IT support or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications: Knowledge and Skills
- Knowledge of all Ellucian ERP Products (Banner, DegreeWorks, ISSM, ILP) as well as StarRez, Evisions, and ISSM.
- Knowledge of Google Suite, MS Office Suite (Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage own work and outcomes independently.
- Knowledge of IT practices and procedures.
- Successful candidates should have a knowledge of and commitment to the goals of Jesuit Education.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of the technical, business and cultural environment of higher education
Minimum Starting Salary: $100,000
Maximum Starting Salary: $120,000
Note: Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and skills.
