Job Description
POSITION DESCRIPTON
The Feliciano School of Business at Montclair State University invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track Teaching Professor of Marketing in the Marketing Department starting January 17, 2025.
Ideal candidates for this position will have both professional experience in Marketing and preferably teaching experience at the University level. Preference for this position will be given to candidates with knowledge and experience in two or more areas related to Marketing Research and/or Analysis of Syndicated Marketing Data (advertising, pharma, or retail) or Programmatic Advertising. Applicants should possess knowledge of the current best practices in these areas.
The candidate selected will be expected to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in marketing in multiple modalities (in-person, asynchronous, or synchronous online) based on departmental needs. Teaching Specialist is responsible for teaching eight courses each year, student advisement, and professional development.
This will be a one and one-half year, ten-month appointment through June 30, 2026, with eligibility for reappointment based on established NTTP procedures.

Nearly 105 full-time faculty and 35 staff members bring an impressive range of expertise to the School, with terminal degrees and advanced training from leading universities. The Department of Marketing offers a BS in Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing, and International Business. The department also supports the MBA Program with two concentrations, Marketing and Digital Marketing, MS in Digital Marketing Analytics, and offers a fully online Graduate Certificate in Digital Marketing.

QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified candidates must hold a graduate degree (MBA, MS) in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or similar qualifications with extensive relevant industry experience or Doctorate (PhD) in Marketing or related fields. Preference will be given to qualified candidates who have professional or consulting experience in customer insights, digital marketing, programmatic advertising, advertising measurement, brand analytics, digital marketing. Candidates with demonstrated excellence in teaching evidenced by peer and student evaluations or interest or experience in teaching and curricular development in online or hybrid formats, and demonstrated evidence of the ability to build relationships with business partners will be preferred.
