Hiring Range: Per credit hour rate
Job Summary: Adjunct faculty are part-time faculty hired to teach in a physical classroom, lab, or online on a semester basis.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in English with reading background and coursework (minimum of 9 credits in reading and/or literacy), or a Master's degree in Education with reading background and coursework ((minimum of 9 credits in reading and/or literacy), or a Master's degree in Reading, or Reading Specialist.
Licensing Requirements:
Required to comply with PA ACT-15 Requirement
Valid Driver's License
Hiring Range: Per credit hour rate
Preferred Qualifications: Experience teaching developmental reading to the adult learner at the community college level.
Job Specific Task List:
- Support students in their mastery of outcomes in English using supportive, student-focused pedagogy. Participate in assessment activities. - (Essential)
