Essential Job Duties

Design of experiments, data entry, data analysis, food sample preparation (food grade lab) and microbiological and biochemical analyses of fermented vegetable food samples. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of fermentation studies, sensory evaluations, and maintaining high-quality data integrity.

Schedule:
20/hrs per week, Monday-Friday, 8am-12pm OR 1pm-5pm, some weekends required

  • Experience with written and verbal communication such as preparation of reports and presentation of findings 
  • Previous experience with microbiological analysis of food, particularly conducting pathogen challenges
