Research Associate

Job Description

The Research Associate will work in concert with PI to develop research aims and necessary research goals. The Research Associate will play a critical role in determining efficient and effective use of resources, time and facilities. The independent judgement of the Research Associate is crucial to the success of the ongoing research in the lab.

Minimum Qualifications

A successful applicant for the Research Associate position will have:
  • 5 or more years of experience in cell biology research
  • A degree Bachelor’s degree
  • Multiple years of experience in CRISPR and molecular biology techniques.
  • Experience in generating CRISPR knock-in and knock-out cell lines or transgenics.
  • Proficiency in immunofluorescence assays on fixed cells or tissue
  • Experience in mentoring new lab members of various levels.
  • Experience in assisting in laboratory safety and compliance will be favored.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A degree equivalent to a M.S., PhD, or MD.
