Job Title: Post Doctoral Fellow

Location: Issaquah, WA

Professional Area: Clinical

Schedule: M-F

Shift: 8-4

Job Summary

The Post-Doctoral Fellow is a critical role designed for individuals who have recently completed their doctoral training in a mental health-related field. This position offers an opportunity to gain supervised clinical experience, expand professional skills, and contribute to our clinical services, with a focus on assessment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, including diagnostic interviews and psychological testing.
  • Assist in the development of treatment plans and recommendations based on assessment findings.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including assessment notes, progress notes, and treatment plans.
  • Complete all required documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Stay current with research literature and best practices in the field.
  • Participate in clinical supervision with licensed psychologists to enhance clinical skills and receive feedback.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development and continuing education to stay current with best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

Education:

  • Completion of a doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in clinical psychology or a related mental health field from an accredited program.
  • Current or pending licensure as a psychologist in the state of practice (if applicable).

Certifications:

  • State licensure as a psychologist, if applicable.

Experience:

  • Completion of doctoral-level training in clinical psychology or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques, psychological assessment, and ethical guidelines.

Physical Requirements:

  • Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.
  • May require periods of sitting, standing and the ability to walk to various locations throughout the health system to attend meetings.
  • Must have normal or corrected vision and be able to clearly communicate verbally by phone or in person.
  • Good communication skills and emotional resilience to provide support to patients facing mental health challenges.

 


Minimum salary/hourly: 75,000

Maximum salary/hourly: 85,000

 
The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for this position. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education. This is not inclusive of the value of ARC Health's benefits package, which includes, among other benefits, healthcare/dental/vision, and retirement.
