Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it. The Apple Media Services team is looking for a software engineer that will be instrumental in building Apple's ever-growing services.

Description

Apple Media Services is one of the teams helping to build Apple's services. We're responsible for authentication, networking, purchases, and more across Apple's services, including Apple Arcade, Apple Books, Apple Fitness+, Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, Apple TV+, and App Store. As a frameworks engineer, you'll make substantial and meaningful contributions on day one by defining and building APIs that power these services. You'll work on a small yet growing team. You'll work cross-functionality with teams throughout Apple, gaining insight into how Apple combines hardware, software, and services into a single unified vision. You'll work across Apple's media products, including mobile, desktop, Smart TVs, game consoles, and more.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience


Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong programming fundamentals
  • Familiarity with C++, Kotlin, and/or TypeScript
  • Ability to collaborate across a wide range of cross-functional teams
  • Passionate about quality, attention to detail, and automated testing
  • Experience defining and building APIs preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with Swift and Objective-C preferred but not required


Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $125,800 and $189,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
