The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University appoints a selection procedure for the position
Lecturer for the Department of Pharmacology
(full-time or from 0.75 upwards)
The Department of Pharmacology of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University is is a research and teaching facility that focuses on a wide range of areas of pharmacology, particularly drug biotransformation, behavioral neuropsychopharmacology, pharmacoeconomics, personalized pharmacotherapy in oncology, and clinical trials.

The scope of your work will be:
- active involvement in teaching pharmacology for the 4th year of General Medicine, 3rd and 4th year of Dentistry, clinical pharmacology and in teaching the basics of pharmacology for non-medical disciplines at the Faculty of Medicine MU,
- contribution to the preparation and innovation of study and teaching materials,
- conducting consultation hours for students,
- participation in publishing activities, especially for educational purposes,
- contribution to the organisational support of teaching activities, including related administration.
Required qualification:
- Lecturer I - a completed Master's degree in general, dental or veterinary medicine, pharmacy or biomedicine, or equivalent education obtained abroad,
- Lecturer II - completed doctoral studies in pharmacy, pharmacology, biomedicine or clinical medicine, or equivalent education obtained abroad ,
- teaching experience,
- ability to work independently in a professional capacity, including publishing activities,
- active knowledge of the English language,
- excellent knowledge of the Czech language in both written and spoken form,
- ability to work as part of a team,
- active attitude, initiative and willingness to further education,
- civic and moral integrity.
