Research Assistant
Job Description
The Department of Neurosurgery is seeking a casual Research Assistant for the division of Neurosurgical Oncology. Under the general supervision of faculty investigator Mark Luciano, the Research Assistant will be assisting in the screening of new consults for appropriateness to the Hydro clinic and needed materials. This research efforts of the Research Assistant will include organization of data under IRB studies, analysis, and manuscript preparation in the area of CSF disorders.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Aid in medical chart interpretation, summary, and organization for the preparation of consults.
- Conduct formulation of clinical research questions and designs.
- Conduct statistical analysis of research data to share with Investigator.
- Assist in manuscript preparation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline.
- Additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
Classified Title: Research Assistant
Role/Level/Range: ACRO40/E/03/CD
Starting Salary Range: $17.20 - $30.30 HRLY (Commensurate with experience)
Employee group: Casual / On Call
Schedule: M-F 8:30-5
Exempt Status: Non-Exempt
