We are seeking a professional Lead Concierge who will manage the Concierge Services at our client site in (San Diego, California).


We're looking for a Lead Concierge who understands the value of excellent customer service and how to deliver it. The primary responsibilities of this position are to provide daily oversight of Concierge staff located at other locations, service delivery, enforcement of client security procedures, and staff job performance. Candidates are expected to present a pleasant and professional impression to all guests, be highly organized, dedicated, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously.


Major Responsibilities:
Sets an exemplary helpful, friendly service standard.
Serves as an informational resource for the building.
Supervises and manages team members, ensuring that policies and procedures are implemented properly and followed.
Motivates the Concierge Team to exceed guest and client expectations.
Holds Concierge team accountable when not following policies, procedures, and standards.
Trains and coaches Concierge team on policies, procedures, programs, and standards of excellence
Helps Customer Service Manager in scheduling for the Concierge team and ensures that timecards are accurate for payroll.
Recommend annual customer service and hospitality training for staff.
Conduct annual performance reviews for direct reports. Deliver performance feedback annually. Work with staff on professional goals and growth opportunities.
Ensures the Concierge Desk appears professional and fully stocked with information including local maps, brochures, and event literature.
Provides coverage for absences when needed.
Build weekly staff schedules for the team in advance to ensure coverage.
Reassign work order tickets for daily tasks.
Builds and maintains relationships through networking with area concierge, National Concierge Lead, and other personnel within the IFM and CES service line.
Meets or exceeds given goals for specific job functions.
Flexible schedule, especially during high-volume seasons
May need to work overtime for special events.
All other duties and tasks assigned.



Skills and Aptitudes:
At least three year's experience in hospitality, marketing, or luxury retail in a supervisory capacity
Excellent communication skills including verbal and written.
Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, digital technology
Ability to complete multiple tasks while maintaining a pleasant and professional demeanor.
Ability to listen and react quickly to guests' and retailers' requests in a genuine manner.
Ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.
Ability to work with varied personalities and temperaments.
Self-motivated and action-oriented team player
Team player
Strong organizational skills
Takes pride and ownership in the position and property.
Willing to adhere to a dress code and appearance policy.
Flexibility as it relates to work start and end times may be needed.



Education/Experience:
High School diploma (or equivalent) required; an Associate degree or college coursework preferred.
3-5 years of experience in progressively responsible roles in hospitality, sales, marketing, or related fields.
