Class Description
The Clinical Coordinator, Respiratory Care is responsible for all aspects of the clinical experiences of students enrolled in the program, including organization, administration, continuous review and revision, planning for and development of locations (with appropriate supervision) for evolving practice skills, and the general effectiveness of the clinical experience.
Compensation within the posted range is determined by a candidate’s education level and/or years of experience in the field. Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of the scale.Minimum Requirements
Master’s degree; valid RRT Credential, valid Maryland Respiratory Care license. Minimum of four (4) years’ full-time equivalent experience as a Respiratory Care Therapist of which at least two (2) full-time equivalent years have been spent in clinical respiratory care. Minimum of two (2) years of full-time equivalent experience teaching in an accredited respiratory care program either as an appointed faculty member or as a clinical preceptor.
