The Leidos Innovations Center (LInC) at Leidos currently has an opening for a full-time Administrative Assistant in San Diego, CA. LInC focuses on research and development (R&D) and technical innovation to solve complex Customer needs. Leidos is looking for you to join our team as an Administrative Assistant.

As part of the team, you'll focus on supporting our incredible people - from new employees to senior employees out of our San Diego, CA office. You will work with local administrative support staff and management to ensure that our employees receive the administrative support so that together we can fully focus on the critical missions of our customers.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of administrative and office coordination tasks with to include assisting employees/non employees with travel arrangements, completing expense reports, direct and indirect P-card purchasing and allocating, scheduling calendars for meetings to include catering and room set up, facility requests, staffing office assignment, non-Purchase Orders requests, capital asset inventory, process goods receipts, trusted agent for in-person verification, working direct with buyers for complex purchase requests, submitting pre-screening/nomination requests to obtain a security clearance, submitting visitor requests, and escorting foreign national visitors as needed
  • Organize recruitment and new hires by assisting in travel coordination for interviews, conference room scheduling, meeting invites to include interview schedule and agenda. Support management with new hire tasking to include onboarding requirements such office assignments, workstation orders, software orders, badge requests, token requests.
  • Support employees and management by utilizing management information systems/business information systems
  • Proven expertise working in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects simultaneously with timely completion of projects, must be ready and willing to adapt to prioritizing current tasks, new tasks, and challenges as needed

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance (no clearance needed to start)
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of relevant experience as an administrative assistant, office coordinator/manager, event coordinator, or receptionist
  • Calendar management skills to coordinate small to large scale meetings, in-person and/or via Teams meetings
  • Lead planning of events
  • Fluent with web browsing, Microsoft Office applications
  • Proficient experience with completing expense reports, travel coordination and management
  • Possess strong communication and organizational skills and enjoy working with people in large office environments, both local and remote
  • Ability to thoroughly and accurately complete tasks by carefully examining all aspects from start to finish
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be positive and flexible to accept additional tasking as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA or BS degree
  • Active Secret security clearance
  • Document editing, desktop publishing, and document production.
  • Experience working with operational and functional staff such as branch managers and directors
  • Familiarity with information management and handling sensitive employee information to include Privacy protected information
  • Proficient hands-on experience utilizing Concur, US Bank, CIO Central, eCatalogs, Tangoe, EMS, Validation Tool, Costpoint, Fusion, Reliance, Deltek T&E

Pay Range:Pay Range $53,950.00 - $97,525.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
