As the Associate Dean, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of CTC by overseeing a diverse portfolio of academic programs, fostering a culture of innovation, and driving institutional growth. You will collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to enhance student success, develop new academic programs, and support innovative teaching and learning approaches.

To be successful in this role, you should be a visionary leader who is flexible, adaptable, and willing to take risks. You should be interested in supporting our vision of becoming a truly student-ready institution. You will use your demonstrated leadership in curriculum development and assessment, along with a strong background in faculty development and strategic planning on a daily basis. Experience in securing grants and managing budgets is essential, as well as expertise in negotiating partnerships, agreements, and contracts with external organizations and agencies will help you to be successful in this role. The successful candidate should be adept at fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, collaborating with various stakeholders, and effectively balancing departmental and institutional needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree in relevant field. Six years progressively responsible experience in higher education or a related area, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Advanced degree preferred.

Position Details:

This position is located at the UAF Community and Technical College in Fairbanks. This is a full-time, 12-month, associate dean/non represented faculty position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. Faculty salaries are based on a variety of factors, including education and experience.
