Job Description
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, COMMUNICATIONS, OFFICE OF EXTERNAL RELATIONS, MIT Sloan Office of External Relations, to serve as lead communications strategist and creative liaison for alumni events and direct mail program; partner with teams to create integrated communications plans, guiding messaging, audience profiles, and tone; manage workflows for communications deliverables; partner on strategies for digital channels to achieve fundraising and engagement goals; oversee the alumni communications calendar and email process; develop content for digital campaigns; provide thought leadership on communications and social media tactics; develop, monitor, and report on KPIs to generate better insight into our digital communities and provides recommendations for improvement.

Job Requirements:REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree in a related field; minimum of four years of communications and marketing experience; robust project management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively; excellent written, oral, and editing skills; experienced in multi-channel and digital marketing communications; proven relationship-building skills; and dedicated to providing top-notch customer service. Salary range: $73,490 - $98,283 - $123,075, based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity. New hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
