The Department of Molecular Biomedical Sciences trains doctors of veterinary medicine, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows interested in research-based careers focused on discovering new information about animal and human health and disease and using those findings to enhance animal and human health and well-being.
The BioElectricity Lab develops next generation technologies for the detection and treatment of diseases using electric field mediated phenomena.
Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate for this postdoc position will conduct large / small animal studies investigating a new pulsed electric field cancer therapy. They will conduct treatments administered via an ultrasound guided approach, conduct necropsies, then process and analyze data. The candidate will additionally assist with other experiments in the laboratory using in vitro and small animal models to investigate the effects of pulsed electric fields on biological tissues.

Evaluate CT & Histological Data
Conduct in vitro and small animal studies
Participate in lab meetings and journal club Prepare manuscripts and grants

Work Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm with flexibility based on clinical schedules, animal/patient/experimental needs, and deadlinesDepartment Required Skills
