Job Summary
To teach lower division and upper division courses in the School of Arts and Sciences, and to coordinate and develop programs for on campus, blended, and online modalities. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching within a comprehensive State college, student engagement, college service, community involvement, and the promise of scholarly achievement..

Responsibilities
- Ability to teach lower division and upper division courses in their respective areas.
- Teach courses in various modalities (campus, blended & online) and on weekends and evenings.
- Familiarity with multiple delivery systems, including blended, online, and face-to-face learning formats
- Familiarity with advising students in undergraduate course programs and in application for graduate programs and employment opportunities
- Familiarity or experience working with various populations or completed coursework demonstrating understanding of diverse populations.
- Experience in any area (police, courts & corrections) in the criminal justice field
- College and School service, including student organizations, assistance, and sponsorships
Required Qualifications
Education: Masters degree or higher in the relevant field, or related field.
Applicants holding a Masters or higher degree in any field who also possess 18 graduate semester hours in their discipline can also qualify.
All academic coursework must have been completed at an institution accredited by a regional accreditation agency, such as the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACSCOC).
Preferred Qualifications
Successful teaching experience at college level preferred
Proposed Salary
- Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience within the budgetary parameters of the college and of the University System of Georgia.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Teaching ability in online, hybrid and face-to-face as well as scholarly research in the field.
