The Counseling Center is a non-profit agency providing comprehensive and confidential mental health services in Wayne and Holmes Counties. We help over 3,500 individuals each year and reach over 8,000 additional residents through community educational programming. Flexible Schedule Available.

*** $5,000 Sign-On Bonus *** Potential for a $2,000 Retention Quarterly Bonus as well ***

  • Do you have a passion for working with youth who have mental health concerns? The Counseling Center is seeking a full-time therapist, to serve children and adolescents in the home, school, and community setting.
  • Intensive Home-Based Treatment provides an opportunity for a small caseload and in-depth work with a youth and their family to create positive life change.
  • Work hours are flexible and self-directed, Monday through Friday, to meet the needs of family and children served. On-call rotation.
  • This position offers a supportive team atmosphere, flexible schedule, supervision for licensure if needed, opportunities to participate in student loan forgiveness programs, and benefits including health insurance and retirement contributions.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in a Behavioral Health Field and current license or license eligible as a LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW in the state of Ohio.
  • Valid Driver's license and safe driving record

Full-Time (30+ hours/week) Benefits:

The Counseling Center is headquartered in Wooster, a college town located in scenic rural Northeastern Ohio near Akron, Canton, Cleveland, and Mansfield.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $62,000.00 per year
