Essential Job Duties
The School of Public and International Affairs, in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at North Carolina State University is seeking applications for the position of Teaching Assistant Professor.
The person hired will teach 4 classes each semester (a 4-4 load each academic year). The professional track faculty member is responsible for the coordination, planning, preparation, presentation, and evaluation of classroom instruction and related activities. Some modest service will be expected. The selected person will teach sections of Introduction to Comparative Politics, and other upper division or seminar courses in areas of the scholar’s expertise and consistent with departmental needs.

Minimum Education and Experience
Candidates should hold or be on track to earn a PhD in Political Science or a related field before
