Summary Description:
Seabrook Hospitality is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Business Services to lead and oversee our Call Center, Business Channels/Revenue, Concierge, Marketing, and Budget/Purchasing departments. This senior leadership position will work directly with the CEO and is critical in driving operational excellence, enhancing guest experiences, and optimizing revenue generation across multiple channels. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of business operations and financial strategies. They will also be a strong project and people leader, capable of creating and implementing effective processes to enhance overall operational efficiency and drive specific goals. This role can be an in-person, fully remote or hybrid position.
Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Call Center, Business Channels/Revenue, Concierge, Marketing, and Budget/Purchasing departments.
- Set clear metrics based objectives, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback and coaching.
- Implement best practices and standardized procedures to streamline operations.
- Develop and mentor department managers, promoting operational efficiency, data driven decision making, professional growth, and leadership development.
- Monitor metrics and performance, and make data-driven decisions to enhance service quality and efficiency.
- Develop and execute strategies to optimize revenue across all business channels, including direct bookings, third-party platforms, and corporate accounts.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Ensure the Concierge department continues to deliver exceptional guest experiences while ensuring those services are financially viable.
- Manage the Hospitality budget, keeping all stakeholders involved, and allocate resources effectively.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements across departments to enhance financial and operational efficiency.
- Implement innovative solutions and monitor their effectiveness.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the teams.
- Collaborate with other senior leaders to align business strategies and goals.
- Act as a key liaison between departments to facilitate communication and coordination.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to develop long-term strategies and plans to achieve business goals.
- Capability to inspire teams to achieve high performance, and act when goals are missed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business environments and market conditions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Work a flexible schedule, which may occasionally include evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours, as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical management skills including budgeting, expense tracking, purchasing flow, and data driven goals.
- Proficiency in Excel, Accounting Software (ie. Quickbooks), and Google Workspaces. Proficiency in SQL is a plus.
- Strong understanding of customer service, business relationships, and delegation-oriented leadership.
Physical Requirements (including but not limited to):
- Visually or otherwise identify, observe, and assess distance, color, and depth.
- Required to regularly communicate with others and exchange accurate information.
- Frequently move up to twenty-five (25) pounds and occasionally move up to fifty (50) pounds.
Annual Salary: $90,000-$100,000
