We are seeking a visionary and strategic leader to serve as the President/Chief Executive Officer for our reputable behavioral health non-profit organization. One who is a strong, energetic, and creative leader who will build on the organization’s standard for excellence and provide strategic direction while embracing opportunities for new initiatives and entrepreneurial development.
As the CEO, you will be responsible for providing dynamic leadership, steering the organization towards its mission of promoting mental health and well-being in our community. Your role will involve overseeing all aspects of the organization, including program/business development, financial management, fundraising, and community outreach. You will foster a positive environment and culture for employees and patients. Bring innovative ideas and strategies.
You will be responsible for the overall leadership and strategic planning. Selected by the Board of Directors the President/CEO has the responsibility to carry out the mission and is responsible for the overall management and operation of all aspects of the organization. The President/CEO focuses on long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies routinely exercising discretion and independent judgment in the performance of job duties. The President/CEO is accountable for the overall programmatic and fiscal integrity of the organization.
Background
Suncoast Center excels at partnering with people with behavioral health and sexual assault trauma including those with complex needs to achieve optimal health, and a meaningful quality of life. For more than eight decades, Suncoast Center has translated national movements into ground-level, community-based programs. We partner to resolve complicated, intractable and costly social and health challenges for some of the county and state’s most vulnerable populations. Working largely with people who have low income, those who are high users of health care services, and those with behavioral and health disabilities, we coordinate services for more than 20,000 people in Pinellas County, Florida through innovative programs that move people from institutions, hospitals and other facilities to living in the community while reducing costs to the system.
