We are seeking an experienced Engineering Program Manager with a strong background in hardware reliability as well as knowledge of data analysis and statistical methods used in reliability engineering. You have extensive experience in display technology and be competent in programming with Python or similar languages. Description

As an Engineering Program Manager at Apple, you will lead and manage technical programs focused on the reliability of consumer hardware products. You will be responsible for developing and implementing reliability testing protocols and procedures for display technology. You will collaborate with engineering teams to identify and mitigate reliability risks throughout the product lifecycle. Additionally, you will support automation efforts to improve reliability testing and data analysis, demonstrating your strong programming skills in Python or similar languages. You will analyze failure modes and develop strategies to improve product durability and performance and regularly prepare and present detailed reports and updates on program status to collaborators and senior management. You'll coordinate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and manufacturing, to ensure project landmarks are met and provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, encouraging a culture of reliability and quality.

  • 4+ years of experience in hardware reliability, particularly in display technology and reliability
  • Competent programming skills in Python or similar languages, with experience supporting automation efforts.
  • Experience using tableau or similar business information programs
  • Consistent record of managing technical programs with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.

Minimum of Bachelor's in Physics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $152,400 and $268,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
