JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State Human Resources is seeking a dynamic, customer-focused, and detail-oriented individual to support the Office of the Senior Vice President for Research, The Graduate School, and the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications in planning, implementing, and sustaining a wide range of human resources activities and functions. Job duties and functions include recruitment, onboarding, and retention of all unit employees (full-time and part-time faculty and staff, tech services, etc.); employment contract development and tracking; employee and labor relations; organizational development; talent management; total rewards and compensation; position management; diversity, inclusion and belonging initiatives and compliance monitoring. The position will support all aspects of our units' Human Resources, including but not limited to policy and procedure development and interpretation; employee performance; data input, analysis, and maintenance, standard and custom reporting, support of Workday and other human resources related data as needed; provide unit representation on various committees; and work with the Human Resources staff to implement new and/or continuing legal requirements or initiatives.

This position offers a flexible work arrangement that combines remote and on-campus work. Questions related to flexible work should be directed to the hiring manager during the interview process.
This position will be filled at the Advanced Professional or Senior Professional level, depending on the final applicant's experience and education. The Advanced Professional requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional experience and/or education are required for higher level positions.
The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is:
$68,200.00 - $115,100.00

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
