Full job description

We are looking for a new motivated post-doc research fellow who wants to join our journey to identify the molecular and physiological mechanisms for the development of obesity and Type 2 diabetes and other metabolic dysfunction.
The main focus of our current research is to understand how obesity causes adipose tissue dysfunction and insulin resistance with immunometabolic approaches. We utilize multidisciplinary approaches including molecular biology, cell biology, immunology, bioengineering, bioinformatics, mouse genetics and physiologocy, ect., to answer our questions.

An ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Biological Science, or a related field, and have experience on cell and molecular biology, immunology, metabolism research, and/or mouse studies particularly in adipose tissue, liver, or pancreatic islets. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, based on UC San Diego salary scales.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $71,952.00 per year
