CBSM ADJUNCT FACULTY POOL POSITION
The College of Business and Security Management (CBSM) at the University of Alaska Fairbanks invites applications for adjunct Accounting instructors for the 2023-2024 academic year. Adjunct faculty teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses in accounting. All applicants are expected to commit to teaching excellence. Qualified candidates are expected to develop a unique and engaging curriculum. Teaching may be conducted face-to-face, online, or a hybrid of the two.
Work might be in-person or remote, depending on the needs of the program respective to the course being taught.
This is a pooled position and applications will be reviewed on an as-needed basis. Salary rates are $1,666 per credit hour; most semester-based courses are 3 credit hours for a total salary of $5,000 to teach a three-credit course.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Demonstrated expertise in the area of accounting. Candidates with a professional certification are preferred. Preferred Experience & Education:

Masters degree in accounting.

This is an at-will, union-represented adjunct position, and may be canceled based upon the needs of the university.
