The Human Resources Department is seeking to appoint a Human Resources Officer (HR Officer) to join the Recruitment team supporting a broad remit of functions associated with recruitment and onboarding. The HR Officer will manage recruitment competitions in line with university policies and processes, delivering a high-quality recruitment service, and promoting best practice. They will work closely with the university community and hiring managers to provide advice, guidance, and support throughout the recruitment process.

This role has a broad remit working with constantly changing demands in a busy environment with, at times, conflicting priorities. The successful candidate will have experience working as part of a team in a busy Recruitment function, have excellent interpersonal skills, be organised and flexible, with experience of managing multiple tasks against tight deadlines. They will exercise a high level of discretion with confidential information and must be able to demonstrate ability to work under pressure, working on their own initiative and as part of a team.

Salary:

Administrative Officer II salary scale: €42,893 – €61,240  p.a. (9 points) 

Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
