The Arc Montgomery County has vacancy for an energetic and detail-oriented person to develop and implement recruiting plans and strategies, aiming to bring in the best new hire candidates to fill the agency needs. This is a challenging and fast-paced position which will require building networks to find qualified candidates, coordinating and implementing college recruiting initiatives and other administrative duties and recordkeeping. Key responsibilities will include working with hiring managers and developing a qualified pool of candidates in advance of need.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement recruiting plans and strategies, aiming to bring in the best new hire candidates to fill the agency needs
  • Responsible for full life cycle recruitment that includes job posting, telephone interviewing, hiring manager interview scheduling, regular communication with job candidates and hiring managers
  • Determine applicant eligibility by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses and matching to the job requirement, verifying reference and employment checks
  • Build network to find qualified candidates by researching and contacting local colleges/universities, community services, employment agencies, social media and make presentations, organizing job fairs etc
  • Complete and submit all required documentation for new hires to go through the company new hire process and that includes employment/reference check
  • Regular update to the Business and HR Supervisor on progress of the assigned job vacancies

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree plus three years relevant professional experience; or associate degree plus five years of relevant professional experience; or a high school diploma plus seven years of relevant professional experience.
  • Must have good communication and interviewing skills, attentive to details and administration skills.
