Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement IT security policies, procedures, and standards

- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions

- Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents

- Manage access controls and user permissions to ensure data confidentiality and integrity

- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, technologies, and best practices

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security measures and address vulnerabilities

- Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of cybersecurity

Experience:

- PHD degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

- Proven experience as an IT Security Specialist or similar role

- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security technologies

- Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and vulnerability management tools

- Experience in conducting security assessments and audits

- Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical issues
