Position Title Assistant/Associate Professor (Computer Engineering)
Job Summary
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in computer engineering such as Internet of Things (IoT) Discrete Mathematics, Data Structures and Algorithms, Computer Hardware Design, Embedded Computer Networking, Cyber Security Engineering, etc.

Essential Job Duties
    • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in computer engineering such as Internet of Things (IoT) Discrete Mathematics, Data Structures and Algorithms, Computer Hardware Design, Embedded Computer Networking, Cyber Security Engineering, etc.
    • Conduct active research in areas related to Artificial Intelligence (Al), Machine Learning and Data Science, and their applications to robotics, cybersecurity, intelligent systems, wearable devices or energy system.
    • Applicants with experience in other areas/applications or Al, machine learning are also welcome to apply.
    • Advise undergraduate and graduate students.

 

 
Preferred Qualifications
    • Must have a BS in Computer or Electrical Engineering
    • Must have a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering or Computer Science with, preferably, research focus in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and their applications
    • Experience in securing funded basic and applied research is desirable
    • Industrial experience is not required but desirable
