Position overview Position title: Pediatrics
Salary range: The posted UC Salary scales set the minimum pay at the appointment as determined by appointment type and if applicable, rank and/or step. The base pay range for this position is $103,000 - $274,400. Salary is negotiated annually. Additional compensation may be available if the position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan. Position description

The successful candidates are expected to participate and/or lead in teaching, mentoring, research, clinical care of patients, or service toward building an equitable and diverse scholarly environment.

The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate's background and experience.

As a member of the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, the appointee should be aware that there are limitations on outside professional activities, and clinical moonlighting is expressly prohibited. Qualifications
Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

Candidates must have an MD or equivalent, MD/PhD or PhD in a relevant field of Pediatrics or its subspecialties.

Candidates with an MD or equivalent must be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California.

Candidates involved in clinical care must have an MD or equivalent and must be board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatrics or Pediatric subspecialties.
