Human Resources Business Partner
Job Description
Provides a broad range of human resources services in support of business objectives, with the ultimate purpose of enhancing employee engagement and retention, productivity and ensuring compliance with company policies, federal and state laws. Under the supervision of the CHRO, the HR Business Partner is responsible for providing tactical and strategic HR support, facilitating positive employee relations and HRIS system optimization. The HRBP will provide support to a group of departments, by working closely with the manager in all areas of human resource activity, including recruitment, employee relations, workforce planning and development, leaves of absence, as well as assuming responsibility for special projects as assigned. Develops integrated HR solutions in partnership with the HR Director.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Partners with the other HR leaders to develop, implement and evaluate strategic human resources programs which are consistent with the mission, values, and goals of Franciscan Children’s.
Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues.
Acts as HR liaison to assigned departments, providing HRBP services including employee relations, workforce planning, etc.
Participates in the creation and delivery of training to all levels of the organization.
Builds organizational capability through coaching for leadership and management excellence; provide employee support via individual coaching meetings as needed.
Partner with HR colleagues to facilitate HRIS implementation and optimization of all modules to automate HR processes.
Supports the assessment of individual and department performance needs and the design, implementation and evaluation of programs that reflect the business objectives of the organization.
Solicits employee insights using employee feedback tools such as engagement surveys and/or focus groups to guide business leaders’ actions to result in high levels of employee engagement and commitment. Promotes a positive work culture and develop strategies to improve workplace satisfaction.
Maintains and promotes a positive and professional work environment within the company and within Human Resources.
Performs other projects assigned.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills
Education/Experience:
· Four-year degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, master’s degree preferred.
· At least 3 - 7 years of Human Resources experience
· Significant Employee Relations experience, experience with coaching managers and familiarity with MA Employment Laws
· Experience with HRIS systems required; familiarity with Kronos system and implementations preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with ability to mentor other HR professionals.
- Effective presentation, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong coaching, counseling, oral and written communication skills
(Based on years of experience and skills, the potential incumbent can be hired at senior level.)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
