Job Description
Northeastern State University is seeking an Assistant Professor of Information Systems in the College of Business
and Technology.
Candidate must have an earned doctorate in information systems with preferred experience in teaching in hybrid,
online or cohort learning environments. The right faculty will be able to teach any of the information systems, ERP or
cybersecurity courses needed at the undergraduate level and may also have the possibility of teaching courses in
analytics-related areas.
In addition to teaching, this position involves student recruitment. The right candidate will be active in connecting with
industry. The person will also be expected to find and meet with prospective students from high schools, community
colleges, returning students from industry and through social media.
The faculty member may be assigned to teach classes and hold meetings as needed on the Tahlequah or Broken
Arrow campuses, on Zoom or online.

Responsibilities
Outstanding teaching and mentoring of students are required. Scholarly publications in peer reviewed journals,
service and interaction with local industry partners are expected.
Experience
Earned Doctorate Degree in information systems required. Proven ability to produce scholarly work preferred.

Annual salary $98,170.00 with excellent benefits
