Primary Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to)
- Design and implement a comprehensive fund development plan and budget.
- In collaboration with the CEO, identify, cultivate, and steward gifts at all levels.
- Develop prospect strategies and lead the direct cultivation and solicitation of corporate and individual donors for major gifts.
- Build portfolios of donors for CEO and strategically manage relationships through visits to close major gifts for the Society, the $1 million Capital Campaign, 100th Anniversary Camp Campaign, and other ongoing initiatives.
- Create donor recognition strategies and timelines including giving societies.
- Recruit and steward C-Suite community leaders for and provide leadership to the SVdPD Foundation fundraising board.
Education/ Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in fundraising.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in the non-profit sector.
- Skilled in creating powerful and compelling written and oral communications for fundraising.
- CFRE Certification.
Job Type: Full-time
