Job Description
Purpose
In partnership with the Clinic Administrator, the Associate Clinic Administrator ensures clinic operates within the guidelines set by Neighborcare Health management team and in accordance with laws and regulations. Coordinate and oversee daily operations for dental and other ancillary service lines and functions within the clinic. Responsible for specific administrative functions of the clinic and managing resources efficiently. Manage direct reports to include hiring, performance management, orientation and training, and completion of annual individual learning conversations. Manage with retention in mind. Work in partnership and join accountability with other team members to achieve Neighborcare Health's Mission, Guiding Principles and goals.

In this position you will:
Administrative Work
- Review, maintain and coordinate clinic schedules to account for vacations, illness, meetings while maintaining adequate clinic coverage
- Identify and resolve issues and concerns, escalating as needed to appropriate resources
- Develop and implement organization and strategic goals and key performance indicators
- Cascade organizational information to staff
- Oversee set-up, maintenance and management of administrative support systems, ensuring information is complete, accurate and clinic goals and deadlines are met
Operations Management
- Plan and Lead/Co-lead staff meetings, trainings, and team building activities
- Work in partnership with site or program clinical leader to manage staffing levels, patient schedules, quality outcomes and to support the organizations strategic goals
- Coordinate community outreach and local or co-located partnerships
- Participate in NeighborCare leadership meetings and leadership development activities
- Manage and respond to fluctuations in patient access, demand, and satisfaction; Integration of service lines within the sites to meet patient need and maximize efficiency
Financial Management
- Plan monitor, and manage annual budgets
- Monitor and communicate productivity to providers in partnership with clinical site director
People Management
- Hire, train and orient direct and non-direct reports on clinical operations and functions
- Ongoing coaching and support
- Provide support to team to address individual performance issues, develop improvement plans and coordinate with HR Team as needed
Minimum Qualifications
Education
Required: Bachelor’s degree OR High School Diploma/GED and 5 years relevant work experience in a professional setting
Preferred: Non-profit organization administration certificate
Experience
Required: At least 2 years of direct supervision of people or teams experience
Preferred: 2 years of health care administration or practice management; two (2) years of leadership team supervision and development

- Ability to prioritize work assignments and adjust tasks as needed; Proficient with computers. Proficient in the use of word processing, spreadsheets, presentations and email
Preferred for this job
- Familiarity with medical and/or dental terminology
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records
- Experience with insurance providers and billing

Compensation
The wage range for this position is a minimum $32.53/hour up to $44.21/hour maximum.
Compensation will be determined based on years of relevant experience.
